As a Patient Services Specialist, you are a key member of the Call Center Team. Your role is to answer and manage internal and external telephone calls and complete job tasks surrounding the nature of the call while providing the highest level of customer service. Day-to-day responsibilities include scheduling, setting up accounts, verifying insurance, accurately entering patient demographics into the system and properly documenting accounts. 

Patient Services Specialists:

  • Are highly skilled customer service professionals.
  • Perform daily duties with a continually warm and friendly demeanor and maintain positive relationships with all constituents including patients, Pivot staff, community partners, medical professionals, vendors and visitors.
  • Clearly understand medical front office operations and have strong understanding of health insurance. 
  • Are able to confidently explain benefits to the patient and answer front office questions.
